What makes a good clip
The better your fifteen seconds, the better the result. Two minutes of care here is the whole difference.

Questions
Does this work with my camera?
Yes. Ring, Nest, Blink, Wyze, Arlo, Eufy, an old GoPro pointed at the door — if you can export a video file from it, we can work with it. We're not affiliated with any of those companies; we just take the file.
How do I get the clip off my doorbell?
Every doorbell app has a save or download button on a recorded event, which puts an MP4 in your phone's camera roll. Upload that file to us exactly as it comes out — don't screen-record it, and don't crop it.
Does it have to be night footage?
It's much better if it is. Every visitor we make arrives at night — that's the whole conceit, and night-vision footage is where they look most convincing. A daytime clip is something we're still working on, so for now send us the dark one.
Will it actually look real?
Real enough to make somebody lean in and go quiet for a second. We keep your actual porch, your actual lighting, and your camera's timestamp and grain, so the frame stays yours. Someone who studies it will work out that it's made — that's the fun of it. This is a surprise you're in on.
Is this all right to show a child?
That's your call, and you know your household. Most of what we make is warm — Santa setting a sack down and shushing the camera is the one people order most. We'll also tell you plainly: these are made videos, and we'd rather you decide how and when to say so than have us pretend otherwise.
What happens to my footage?
We use it for your order and nothing else. We never post it, sell it, or use it as an example on this site without asking you first, in writing. Everything is deleted 30 days after we deliver. See our privacy page.
Can there be people in the clip?
Please, no. Send us an empty porch. It protects your neighbors and the mail carrier, and it makes for a better video — an empty walkway reads far better than a busy one.
Can you make it look like a specific person?
No. We don't put real, identifiable people into these videos, including public figures. Characters only.
What if I don't like it?
Tell us within 48 hours and we'll redo it once, free. If the second one misses too, we refund you in full and you keep both.
Is 24 hours real?
It's our promise, and we hit it nearly always. The clock starts when your clip lands, not when you pay. If we're going to miss it, you'll hear from us before the deadline rather than after.
